Large-diameter, high-thickness, spiral-welded steel tubes
We produce tubes from 20 to 168 in. (14 ft.) in diameter, and from 0.250 to 1.250 in. thick, in lengths requested by our customers (max. 120 ft.). We use the latest technology and rigorous production processes to make sure each tube meets our customers’ exact specifications. Our submerged arc welding (SAW) technique is capable of producing a structure with up to 20% increased rigidity. Our mastery of SAW makes us more efficient and significantly improves consistency and accuracy in terms of diameter and thickness standards.
Product compliance
At Premium Tubes, we proudly guarantee the compliance of all products that come off our production line. In this regard, we have the CSA W47.1 certification issued by the CWB. Our commitment to quality and rigor is also demonstrated by our close collaboration with the independent welding engineering firm METEX Experts-Conseils inc., in order to meet the strict requirements of the specifications, codes and standards governing this type of product.

Flexibility without compromise
We don’t rely on outside suppliers to design and manufacture our steel processing equipment. Everything is done by us, in house. This lets us easily adapt to our customers’ specific needs and the constantly changing market requirements.
